This fund tracks the FTSE World Asia Pacific ex Japan Index, which offers investors large and mid-cap exposure to developed and emerging equity markets in the Asia-Pacific (ex Japan) region. With 600 constituents, the index is well-diversified at the company level and has a strong structural bias towards Australia and South Korea, whilst excluding China and India altogether. This tilt towards certain countries does mean performance can deviate from the peer group but the fund is well diversified at stock level. This is one of the lowest cost offerings in the sector, when compared with both active and passive peers, including exchange-traded funds.
